The Open Throat Crimp Machine is a versatile machine that is especially adaptable to crimping operations that require the attachment of a bent tube to a hose.  The open throat allows for top loading of assemblies to be crimped providing quick loading and removal of crimped assemblies.  With the hydraulic unit directly under the machine, very little floor space is required making the S1172 very adaptable to cell concepts.

The powerful Lomar S1133 high production crimp machine adapts especially well to crimping operations that require attaching bent or long tubes to hose.  The "open throat" design allows you to "top load" an assembly, rather than load it through the front of a conventional radial crimp ring.  This arrangement facilitates quick part loading and removal, especially those with bent or long straight tubes.

S1087 die-sets provides versatility to your hydraulic press. It consistently produces crimped hose and tube assemblies to OEM specifications.  They can be custom made in four, six and eight segment crimp styles. Each crimps to specific tolerances without operator adjustments. In addition, the open design easily accommodates assemblies with varying tube configurations and end-fittings that do not lend themselves to conventional crimping equipment.

Please provide a detailed print showing your crimp specifications, which should include, ferrule material, length and diameter.  Crimp diameter, location and tolerances.  Also hose diameter and application (example: brake, fuel, power steering)
